As a third culture kid (TCK) I know what it means to reframe the feeling of being an outsider into a superpower. I have learned to thrive through transitions, navigate complexity with ease and build bridges between cultures. My family is Chinese but I grew up in France and Spain. I worked in China and now live in Singapore.

 

My career began when I graduated from one of the top 3 business schools in France to work at a luxury fashion conglomerate. Like many fast track executives, my ambition was to climb the corporate ladder. While financially comfortable, I soon found myself waking in the middle of the night wondering “is this all there is?”. The quest to find my own answers to that question led me to leave behind everything that I knew to embark on a creative soul searching journey.

 

I walked the same hard path that so many of my clients face, embracing uncertainty to redefine success, reshape my life, define a life that was worth living for me because of whom I wanted to become and the legacy I wanted to leave behind. Years of unlearning, pivoting and adapting put me on a rollercoaster of excitement and challenge before I reached where I am today —the realisation that it is a gift to be different. I found my voice and I found my tribe: the community of clients and partners with whom I now belong.

 

It has been a humbling and enriching journey. For the longest time, I prized self-reliance above all else. Yet the day I allowed myself to be vulnerable and to feel supported through coaching, new perspectives opened up, I gained new awareness and goals I previously thought impossible became my new reality. Frankly, I am in awe of what human beings can achieve when they dare to dream and now it is a privilege to work with clients who seek and achieve their own revelations.
