There was a moment when everything looked perfect on paper—building a life I thought would bring me fulfillment : career success, upward mobility, influence, and financial abundance. I believed "I had it all" or so I thought. 

But beneath the polished exterior, something was stirring. A quiet but persistent ache began to rise. A whisper became a voice, then an undeniable question "Is this really all there is?"

This question ignited more than doubt—it sparked transformation, ultimately—a sacred remembering.

As a child of Chinese immigrants raised in France, I had lived my life at the intersection of values, cultures and expectations.

I became fluent in the art of shape-shifting—adapting, achieving, excelling. But success built on adaptation came at the cost of authenticity :

I disappeared to please others, abandoned my needs to conform, disconnected from my essence to excel.

 

My inner world was rich with longing : to belong, to feel free, to stop proving and start living.

 

I embarked on a journey inwards, that asked me to release the expectations of who I should be, redefined success from a place of alignment, and uncovered the truth of who I am.

I pressed pause.

I unraveled.

I faced the patterns and coping strategies that had kept me safe but also kept me small.

 

The moment I stopped running

from myself was when             

I found my way 'HOME'.
