“Why am I on this earth / what am I made for?” This is a question that has haunted me since my teenage years, a question I’ve suppressed for the longest time because I was afraid of what it would require of me. So I went through the motions of ticking societal expectations.

 

By the end of 2015, I had a taste of what it is like to be on the top of the (a) mountain (or so I thought). With a high flying corporate role that brought status, influence and money, a definition of success that in the world’s eye I am to be proud of and yet - I felt this internal ‘void’ becoming bigger and bigger, hearing a whisper that I can no longer ignore : ‘there has to be more to life than this.

 

Paying attention to this internal prompting changed my life trajectory forever - it led me to serve the Syrian refugee crisis in Northern Iraq. This world couldn’t have been more opposite from the one I came from and yet there was a profound commonality - a shared humanity. Being confronted with 2 polarised realities, 2 questions came out from it : 

“What is humanity all about and what’s my role in the service of it?” I knew I was not made for NGO work and I also knew I couldn’t go back to my old corporate life. Deep down, I’ve always had an adventurous soul, had a thing in flirting with the unknown, what is yet to be revealed was exciting and it came down to my constant curiosity about ‘why people do what they do’. 

 

You may call it serendipity, luck or timing - Co Active coaching came to me and it provided the structure to create a life that I was called for : to journey with hundreds,thousands of amazing individuals on their path of transformation.

 

I coach because I believe each one of us is capable of transforming our lives for the better, whether it is living out our unique design, reclaiming our freedom to choose or expressing our unique creativity in solving the world’s biggest challenges - all of this is available to you, to us as a collective and so much more.
